The architecture
Same system, three ways to use it
You can use the same system three ways, and one person can do all three. Each way builds on the one below it.
01 · Do the work
Use as much of the loop as you need
Some people just map their work on a canvas. Power users go through every step of the loop. Pick a discipline to see an example; only the example elements, the diagram form and the check at step 6 change. Press → for the next step.
Built first for software. One workspace type ships today, Software product, with its SaaS Starter pack. Packs are added as workspace types grow, and partners can build their own.
02 · Set it up for your team
The workspace type
A workspace type sets up Archimatrix for one use case. It defines the types of element you can create, how they can connect, and all the other parts that go with it, listed below. Open any item to see an example from the Software product workspace type, the one that ships today. You aren't limited to one workspace type. You can switch between types depending on the work, and some plans let you use several at once.
The starter pack
A workspace type sets up the structure. A starter pack fills it with content for one use case: example models, elements with their details filled in, and a worked project, so nobody opens a blank page. We provide starter packs to help you get going, learn how Archimatrix works, and see worked examples of everything in it. They are not the last word on any field.
You can go further. Use Archimatrix to build your own blueprint, or referential, for an industry or use case: a workspace type, plus the knowledge and data that fill it. That's what you sell.
Example: SaaS Starter, for Software product. It maps a published open-source starter product (its teams and invitations, its billing, how people sign in, and what to fix before the first customer pays), with a worked project, “First paying customers”.
03 · Sell what you know
Sell your way of doing things
You've worked out a better way of doing something. You don't want to build software to sell it. Archimatrix is the software. Put your way of doing things into a blueprint, or referential, and others use it in their own workspace. You can earn from each one who keeps working your way.
Said plainly
What is honest to say
- It needs an AI agent on the person's computer.A chat window alone is not enough; plans like Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus include a suitable agent. Our own hosted AI is ready, but your desktop AI is a lot cheaper for you right now, because Anthropic and OpenAI effectively subsidise the tokens in those plans. The map works without AI.
- It does a different job from a tracker or a wiki.It holds how goals, features and decisions connect. Teams keep their tracker if it works.
- Team pricing is not set.It is free for one person; teams talk to us for now.
- One workspace type ships today: Software product. We add workspace types as we go, and a starter pack with each one; today that is the SaaS Starter pack. Your plan decides which types you can choose from. You can start without one and pick a type when one fits your work.
- Some features for sellers are not built yet.Their own web address, their own name and logo in the product, and their own starter pack going to the client with the offer.
